About Me
I was born and raised in Burgundy, France. My passion for foreign languages took me on a journey of study and adventure across the US, Germany, and Singapore. After earning an MBA in Business in France, I moved to Leipzig—where I had originally met my husband during my Erasmus year. I became a mom when our daughter Elyana was born in July 2021. While pregnancy and birth went smoothly, my husband and I quickly realized how challenging the postpartum period could be—especially without family nearby to help.

Having visited over 25 countries, I’ve seen that many cultures provide new mothers with weeks of support from family and friends after birth. This community-centered care allows mothers the time and space to heal, gather strength, and adjust to their new role. While the saying often goes, “It takes a village to raise a child,” I truly believe it takes a village to heal and equip a new mother, so she can confidently raise her child. Unfortunately, in many Western countries, this kind of sustained, communal support is hard to find—especially for those far from their loved ones.

To help fill this vital need, I certified as a Mütterpflegerin (postpartum doula) with the Weckmann Institute in 2024–2025. Combining my professional training with my personal experience as a mother, I’m here to support you through pregnancy, birth, postpartum recovery, breastfeeding, baby-wearing, baby-led weaning, and more. While I don’t replace your OB, midwife, or pediatrician, my goal is to hold space for you, reduce your mental load, and nurture you so you can focus on recovery, your newborn, and your growing family during those precious first 40 days—and beyond.

When my husband and I embarked on parenthood without a support system, the adjustment was incredibly hard and put strain on our marriage. At one point, we found ourselves at high risk of separating. This experience inspired me to develop a workshop specifically designed to help expecting parents become the strongest team possible as they embark on this life-changing journey together. While nothing can fully prepare you for the challenges ahead, learning how to parent as a united team is vital. I genuinely believe this workshop can be key to strengthening relationships and helping new parents navigate the complexities of parenthood hand-in-hand.

In December 2023, we welcomed our second daughter, Emilia, born at the Düsseldorf Geburtshaus. When I first moved to Düsseldorf, I felt the absence of a supportive “village” deeply. To ease my own sense of isolation, I created a moms' group, organizing playdates in kindercafés and playgrounds. Two years later, I’m proud to partner with these family-friendly spaces across Düsseldorf, helping other moms connect and feel supported. Building our community WhatsApp group wasn’t just about helping others; it was about creating the support system I needed myself. Connecting with other moms—especially those with children of similar ages—has been a lifeline as we share milestones, challenges, and triumphs.

Fighting isolation one mama at a time has become my motto, and I’m here to help build the village every new mother deserves.

I speak French, English, and German fluently—but I can also order tapas in Spanish and manakish in Arabic.
